DESCRIPTION:Members of the public are invited to come along and share their reminiscences of the West Hill (Hastings). Tea and coffee with biscuits provided free of charge. No need to book to take part in the event. For further details e-mail: hstlsoc@gmail.com. \nThe oral history session forms part of the West Hill (Hastings) Local Heritage and Community Festival project\, for which the Hastings & St. Leonards Society has received a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project involves researching the history of the West Hill area of Hastings for an exhibition and booklet\, and to hold a community festival to promote and celebrate this extensive local heritage. The project runs for one year\, ending in May 2020\, and the Community Festival is being held over the weekend of Friday 20 – Sunday 22 September 2019. \n
