DESCRIPTION:The Herring Fair is a free event held undercover on the Stade\, Hastings Old Town.  Celebrate this undervalued but seriously versatile fish.  The fair includes music\, cooking demos\, beer\, kids’ activities and a ceilidh. \nThroughout the weekend\nChildren’s sea-themed craft activities and face painting in the Stade Hall\, run by Play Development. Traditional net making by Hastings fishermen in the marquee\, and marine exhibits from Wessex Archaeology. \n
