SUMMARY:Society Open Meeting
DESCRIPTION:One of the objectives of the H & St. L Society is to facilitate discussions about development and planning concerns in the Borough. It is understood that the Local Authority is looking for a developer for the former bathing pool site at West Marina\, and at our last Open Meeting (October 2017) there was a request for a discussion about what would be appropriate for the site. We are making this the main item on the agenda for the Open Meeting on Thursday 15 February\, 6.30 pm start. The meeting will take place at the University’s Priory Square Building\, and if you wish to attend please let us know in advance by e-mail (hstlsoc@gmail.com). Also at the Open Meeting\, guest speaker Ian Jarman will tell us about his campaign to protect the statue of Harold and Edith\, and improve the signage\, at West Marina Gardens. \n
