Group Visit to Rye, Tuesday 15 October
Hastings & St. Leonards Society is organising a group visit to Rye Heritage Centre for Tuesday 15 October.
Included in the visit to the Heritage Centre is a showing of the ‘The Story of Rye’ in a 25 minutes model-show format with sound and light effects. Upstairs there is a ‘Penny Amusements’ heritage collection. We will also have a guided walk round Rye town with local historian (duration approx 90 minutes).
This is a ‘make your own way’ outing. We assemble at Rye Heritage Centre, The Old Sail Loft, Rye Strand Quay, for 11am. Cost is £10 per person, set by Rye Heritage Centre to include the visit to the Centre, model-show and guided walk (we are therefore not required to make any donations). There is a £1 booking fee for each non-member of the H & St. L Society.
