Hastings & St. Leonards Society has produced a 36-page booklet on the heritage of Hastings town centre. This A5 booklet provides historic information on the many points of interest, especially the Victorian architecture, in Hastings town centre, with a recommended trail to follow (map in centre pages). Archive photographs of some of the features of the town centre that have been lost over time are included, and a brief history of the town centre area is also provided.
‘Hastings Town Centre Heritage Trail’ costs £4, and is available from the Visitor Information Centre (near the rail station), Hastings Museum, and Book Buster (39, Queens Road, Hastings).
