2. Request for approval of Notes from 2018 AGM
3. Chair’s Annual Report (circulated to members in
advance of meeting: comments and questions invited)
4. Secretary’s Annual Report
5. Treasurer’s Annual Report (inc. Membership Report)
6. Election of Officers / Executive Committee
7. Discussion and vote on proposed amendment to Constitution, with regard to election process as from
AGM 2020*
8. Set membership fees for 2020 Society Year
9. Vote on providing prize money for 2019 National Town Criers Championships (£200 donated in 2018)
* Item 7: At present, all Officers relinquish their posts before the AGM, but can stand for re-election. It is proposed that this is amended so that a general consistency in the running of the Society is maintained. Amendment to part of Section 6 on the constitution to read:
“The officers of the Society shall consist of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Membership Secretary and Treasurer, all of whom shall relinquish their office every two years (some in one year and the remainder the following year) and shall be eligible for re-election at the Annual General Meeting.”
