A Seasonal message from the Chair
I am pleased to wish members and everyone else who has supported, or shown an interest in, the new Hastings & St. Leonards Society, a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2018.
The H & St. L Society has been set up to assist organisations in the borough concerned with heritage and civic matters with their work, and we have had a busy first year. We have had two open meetings, at which topics of interest and concern have been discussed, and groups have been able to give an outline of their work. It seems that our primary objective has already been recognized and appreciated, and we will endeavour to build on this in the coming years.
We commenced enrolling members in October, and are currently offering an introductory subscription rate to cover membership until the end of 2018. Thank you to all who have joined so far, as this helps cover our operating costs. Details of membership, with an application form to download, can be found on our website:

A diary of events such as lectures, guided walks and outings, organised by the H & St. L Society and associated organisations, is being maintained on the website. Groups are invited to request a quote for corporate membership. Membership benefits include priority booking and discounts for some of the events and outings we organise, and invitations to any members-only events we hold. We look forward to seeing you at some of the events in 2018.
